Wombly ("the app", "we", "us") is a mobile app that helps you track your pregnancy, log your health data, and optionally share select information with your partner. This policy explains what personal data we collect while you use the app, why we process it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
Under applicable law, this data is considered special-category / sensitive personal data, and is processed only with your consent, solely to provide the app's core functionality:
If you choose to add one, the name, phone number, and relationship of an emergency contact. By adding this information, you confirm you are authorized to share it on that person's behalf.
You can link your partner's account to yours using an invite code generated inside the app. Once linked, select pregnancy and health information is shared with your partner's account so it can be shown on their partner screens. This sharing only happens through your own explicit action, and you can unlink your partner at any time.
To generate personalized daily tips, health assessments, and in-app assistant conversations, relevant pregnancy/health data (e.g. your current week, measurement values, questions you ask) is sent to third-party AI service providers (Google Gemini and Anthropic Claude) for processing. Your assistant chat history is stored in association with your account so it can give you more consistent responses.
We store your premium subscription status and which platform (App Store / Google Play) you subscribed through. Your card or payment details never reach Wombly's servers — all payment processing is handled directly by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies.
We never sell your data, and never use it for third-party advertising. Your data is only shared in the following cases:
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can request account deletion from the Profile section inside the app; this immediately deactivates your account, and your data is permanently deleted within a reasonable period thereafter, except where we are required to retain it to meet a legal obligation.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable data protection law (including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Turkey's Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK, Law No. 6698)) to: find out whether we process your data and obtain information about it; learn the purpose of processing and whether it's used accordingly; know any third parties your data is transferred to, domestically or abroad; request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data; request deletion or erasure of your data; and request that these actions be communicated to any third parties your data was shared with.

Your password is stored using irreversible hashing, all data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS), and your data is stored on access-controlled servers. That said, no method of transmission over the internet is ever 100% secure.
Wombly is intended for pregnant individuals and their partners, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 18.
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes through an in-app notice or by email.
